In the heart of Côte d’Ivoire, eleven kilometers from Gagnoa, lies the peaceful village of Kpapékou. There stands—against all odds—the primary and nursery school of Saint John the Evangelist Parish, a symbol of hope and a promise of future for dozens of children.
But today, that hope is fading.
Cracked walls, collapsing roofs, a painful shortage of desks, and the complete absence of teaching materials have turned learning into a daily struggle. Yet, in these difficult conditions, teachers and pupils continue to fight with courage and devotion so that the flame of knowledge may never be extinguished.
Twelve dedicated teachers, driven by a profound sense of duty, give their very best despite the lack of basic facilities. Their commitment commands admiration — but they need your support, all of our support, to continue educating the youth of Kpapékou with dignity and passion.
That is why we are launching this heartfelt appeal for solidarity.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will help to:
rehabilitate the school buildings;
provide desks, blackboards, and teaching materials;
and support the teachers who dedicate themselves tirelessly to these children.
